Manual for Halfords Smart Battery Charger (for Cars) #

If you have the misfortune to own a Halfords Smart Battery Charger (Item code 446040) or a Halfords Smart Battery Charger Plus (Item code 238350), and rarely use it. you may find yourself baffled by the interface. I was this morning, and tried to find a manual online, but only found scam sites and not-very-useful videos. But I dug out my copy of the manual. The key two pages are in the image.

Key things to know:

• The circles with ring LEDs around them are touch-sensitive buttons, but they only work for a few seconds after plugging the machine in, which makes it very easy to think they aren't working or aren't buttons.
• As the instructions show the unintuitive images are:
  • ❄︎　 Winter charge
  • ▶︎▶︎ Normal charge (not some fast charge, as I assumed)
  • ▷　 Maintenance charge (not a normal charge)
• The light flashes green during charging and goes solid when the battery is charged.
